Last night was Second Chance Tuesday and a jolly good night it was, too.
Ok - so this is the first corporate networking event I've been to this year (and the first this year without a free bar! :) but I got to meet a lot of very bright individuals, doing interesting things in business and technology. Everyone, without fault, was polite and engaging. Even when it was obvious that we could not help each other with any business connections or opportunities, people still stayed to chat socially. I didn't get the feeling of people looking over my shoulder for someone more interesting to talk to!
I can't namecheck everyone individually, but suffice to say I shall be staying in contact with as many as I can!
On a personal note I was pleased that so many were impressed by the description of the prototype of Minerva - the home automation suite we're working on. Once I'm reading to look for funding this seems an ideal place to start looking.
